Learning about bushfire prone areas, what can fuel the fires and how they impact ecosystems and communities was part of the Year 11 Geography excursion to Perth’s hills recently. Seeing the areas firsthand enabled students to assess fuel hazard risks and examine how the landscape and land management can affect fire behaviour.
