Wishing all of our families the best for the last few weeks of Term 1 as we face the new frontier of online learning. We like to think of challenges like these as discovering new ways of doing things, who knows what we will uncover during this time! For those at home, and those on campus, please know we are all in this together and our doors (virtual and real) are always open. Take care and all the best.

A SHOW OF SOLIDARITY
March 25, 2020PRINCIPALLY SPEAKING
March 23, 2020A ROUND OF APPLAUSE
March 20, 2020It is with sadness that, according to the Government’s ban on gatherings of more than 100 attendees, delivery of the upcoming Year 11/12 Production of Mad Forest has been cancelled. We are committed to protecting the community amid the Coronavirus and while the cast and crew are understandably disappointed, their professionalism and commitment to the whole process is to be applauded. We do hope you are all able to witness the wonderful performing talent we have at St Stephen’s School again soon. Thank you for your support and join us in giving them a round of applause.
Adieu to Madame Racape
March 20, 2020Dear Parents/Guardians,
We just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that Madame Johana Racape, our wonderful French teacher, will be taking some time off this year to spend time with her family. She will be leaving us today and will return to St Stephen’s in 2021. In conjunction with that, we are very pleased to inform you that Madame Julie Penin will be taking over this teaching load for the rest of 2020. Madame Penin is already well known to our Primary students, as she has regularly joined us as relief teacher.
We truly wish Madame Racape all the best and look forward to her return next year.
Kind regards,
Hannah Lockwood-Jones and Jarrod Heglund
GALA POSTPONED – NEW DATE!
March 20, 2020To protect our community and to be able to present the St Stephen’s School Foundation’s Gala as the full spectacle that has been planned – amid the Government’s ban of indoor events over 100 people for the time being – we have had to postpone the highly-anticipated event until later in the year.
We are excited to announce the new date for the Gala on November 7 at Crown Perth. We hope you are still able to celebrate with us. It is set to be a great evening of food, drinks, entertainment and exciting announcements. See https://www.trybooking.com/BHKWP for more.
Sandwich Makers
March 19, 2020Our community is now confronted with challenges like never before. St Stephen’s students rally to assist those in the Northern Corridor that are suffering financial hardship or homelessness. Students donated items to prepare sandwiches for children that might otherwise go to school hungry. A small token that will touch many.
MATH MASTERS
March 18, 2020THANKSGIVING 2020 POSTPONED
March 13, 2020The Federal Government today advised against any organised events with more than 500 attendees in relation to stemming the community transfer cases of Coronavirus (COVID 19). In accordance with the Government’s advice, and to protect the health and wellbeing of our School community, we have decided to postpone the Thanksgiving Service, which was planned for March 31, until further notice.
We thank you for your ongoing support of our School events and will be in touch with more information when we know it is safe to proceed.
Thank you and take care.
