BBQ LUNCH

November 18, 2019

Secondary students from Carramar and Duncraig joined our friends from Rocky Bay at Neil Hawkins Park recently for a barbecue lunch. This has become an annual event leading up to Christmas, but was the students’ first cross-campus barbecue. The group had a great afternoon at one of their last catch-ups for 2019.

A message from St Stephen’s School

November 18, 2019

Dear Parents & Guardians,

Resource list ordering for 2020 is now open. Please visit our Parent Portal and under the heading ‘Plan the Term’ click ‘Booklists & Textbooks’, or click here and use the code UNZ5 for Duncraig Students.

Students are supplied with a list of essential items which have to be purchased for school. This is handled by Campion Education WA where online ordering is preferred.

St Stephen’s School is conscious of the need to provide an efficient process for families to be able to buy and sell second-hand textbooks and other student resources.

We would like to remind you of the Sustainable School Shop.  This website provides parents with the ability to trade second-hand items with other member of the school community and beyond. www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au

The following information is also available on The Parent & Student Portal:

The Sustainable School Shop preferences our school first and then provides access to buy and sell items with families attending other schools – many schools in the area use this service. Access to second-hand textbooks, calculators, stationery, musical equipment, etc is available all year

For the best results:

  • Register on the Sustainable School Shop website
  • List your items for sale
  • List wanted ads for those items you are looking to buy
  • The school’s book lists are loaded into the system to make listing ads easy
  • The system matches the ads of buyers with sellers and notifies the buyer via email
  • Buyers contact sellers and arrange where and when to trade
  • Most trading will occur with other parents from the school
  • Parents are well supported via Sustainable School Shop’s telephone (0438 743 444) and email help lines
  • The system is simple and easy to use – If you don’t have a computer, internet access or an email address, please call the Sustainable School Shop for assistance
  • You can pre-arrange the transaction and then trade after the texts are not required.

St Stephen’s School is providing this service to our community; when registering on the Sustainable School Shop you need to nominate the school to receive your free subscription.
