Excitement is building across our campuses as both Carramar Secondary and Duncraig Secondary prepare for their House Athletics Carnivals this Friday!
We hope you can join us to cheer on our students as they compete in track and field events.
23 schools competed at Mawson Park in Hillarys last Friday in the NIPSSA Cross-Country Carnival. The standard of competition is always very high and to be successful at this event requires a great deal of commitment and dedication.
St Stephen’s School was well-represented with Year 5 and 6 students from both Carramar and Duncraig competing in the event! Students showed off their dribbling and shooting skills, participating in the round robin tournament against other independent schools.
Well done!

Year 10 student Casey Vlahos has recently travelled to Okinawa, Japan as part of the West Australian section of Go-Kan-Ryu karate! This gives Casey the opportunity to train with the highest karate practitioners in the world, some of the whom are descendants of the founders of traditional Okinawan karate.
Wow! Congratulations Casey.

Dear Parents and Students,
Winter is here and we all know it can be a difficult time for those in our community that are experiencing homelessness or severe financial hardship. Once again St Stephen’s School will be supporting those who find themselves in this predicament.
Commencing Monday, 6th Aug and concluding Friday, 24th Aug we are collecting non-perishable food items to donate to UnitingCare West to distribute to those in need.
It would be greatly appreciated if all students could donate a minimum of one non-perishable food item each. Some examples are:
Pasta and pasta sauce
UHT milk
Biscuits
Tea/Coffee
Cereal
Canned vegetables/fish/meat
Secondary students will be directed to bring the items to their Houses, Primary and ELC students to their teachers.
We thank you in advance for your generosity, every little bit helps.
With regards
Donna Lund
