A group of ten year 11 and 12 students went to Ronald McDonald House to participate in their ‘Lovin’ from the Oven’ experience. They made morning tea for the families staying in the house. These families have children who are sick in the new children’s hospital and Ronald McDonald House is very much their ‘home away from home’. The students were also given a tour of the facilities, including seeing inside the rooms which families can stay in, the teen hang out area and the roof top garden.

This week, Year 10 students participated in a Work Experience and Service Learning program to become further immersed in our local community. Students are placed in actual work or service situations in industries ranging from logistics, trades, education and pharmacy, enabling them to gain real-world experience through direct participation and observation.
The CAS finals that took place this week.
The Year 9 Netball team lost to St Mark’s 27-24 (they were ahead until the last quarter- really good game).
The Year 10 Netball team and the Senior Netball team lost to Peter Moyes.
Great effort by all.
