August 17, 2018Students in year 9 Science were challenged to build their own electromagnets and work out how to make the magnet stronger. Students worked out that by adding more coils of copper wire to their iron nail their electromagnet became stronger and they could pick up more metal objects. Students worked out the applications for electromagnets in industry.
Students used learnt new skills and prior knowledge to build a working motor using a copper coil and rare earth magnets.

August 14, 2018Book Donations
August 9, 2018
You may be an avid reader, but the dusty pile of books in your room is starting to be a nuisance. You don’t have the heart to throw your old books away, but you don’t have much of a use for them anymore.
We need book donations to run another successful book stall at the fete.
Please bring any books you have outgrown or no longer need to Student Services or Primary Office. If it is easier, bring them to the shed in the bottom car park.
Shed will be open every Tuesday from Aug 14, at approx. 7.45am – 8.45am.
THANK YOU!
