Howzit South African Service Learning Team!
Our first team meeting is just around the corner. We are excited to kick off our tour by meeting together for dinner and some other activities. Attendance is mandatory and you should come ready to get to know the other tour group members a bit better and learn a bit about South Africa’s amazing culture.
Here are the details:
ACTIVITY: Dinner and Linquistic Training for Tour Students
LOCATION: Panarottis Currambine (Opposite the Currambine Grand Cinemas)
ADDRESS: Currambine Central, 1244 Marmion Avenue, Currambine
DATE: 17th August
TIME: 6:30 to 8:00pm. Please arrive on time or a few minutes early.

PAYMENT: The venue does split-billing so you can pay for your meal separately with cash or card.
DETAILS FOR STUDENTS: Tour students, join us for dinner and engage in some Afrikaans linguistics training. In order to be prepared for this, we ask that you look up some of the Afrikaans greetings and responses from the website below. You do not have to know them all, but you are expected to learn a few basic greetings and responses for this tour. DETAILS FOR PARENTS: Parents, could you please drop off and pick up your child as close to the allocated time as possible, as we will not be able to transport students afterward. If someone other than yourselves are picking up your child, please let us know in advance.
Upon arrival, one of the Tour Staff will be waiting to meet your child at the bottom of the steps leading into the restaurant.
