Dear Primary School Parents,

We trust this message finds you well and that the first week back has been a positive experience for both you and your children. As we conclude this initial week, I wanted to take a moment to share some highlights and important information with you.

Smooth Transition: It was wonderful to witness the enthusiasm and energy that our students brought back to school. The smooth transition back into the routine is a testament to their adaptability and your support at home.
Engaging Learning: Our dedicated teachers have been hard at work creating engaging and interactive lessons. We hope your child has already begun to explore new concepts and is excited about the learning journey ahead.
Communication Channels: Open communication is key to a successful school-home partnership. If you haven’t already, please ensure you check your class blog which is released every Friday and the Primary Information blog, released on a Monday, subscribed to our newsletters and regularly check your emails for updates and announcements.
Upcoming Events: Keep an eye out for information about upcoming events, parent-teacher meetings, and opportunities for you to be involved in the school community. We value your participation and input as we work together to create a supportive learning environment.
Celebrating Achievements: Take a moment to celebrate your child’s achievements, big or small, from this first week. It’s essential to acknowledge their efforts and reinforce a positive attitude towards learning.
At the beginning of this year, we also had new staff join our Admin team. Carla Horan has taken on the role of Personal Assistant to the Deputies of Primary and Claire Dunne Flaherty has started in the Primary reception . Alison McKillop has moved to the High School admin team.

As we set out on our journey in 2024, we continue to ensure that our focus is set to build our students in learning, personal development and to develop a heart of services for others.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

We hope you have a great week ahead. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children. We look forward to a year filled with growth, discovery, and exciting opportunities.

Warm regards,

Hannah Lockwood-Jones & Andrew Johnston
