ClassVR put to the test!

June 29, 2018

The Y8’s experienced a whole new reality when they experienced the VR sets for the first time! Check out their reactions when they were diving with sharks, riding the scariest roller coasters and even drove a F1 car when investigating their energies.

Enjoy the short videos!

ClassVR Learning

June 26, 2018

Students were able to virtually travel the world last week with some brand new Virtual Reality headsets! These ClassVR headsets enable students to go diving with sharks, explore the Great Wall of China and even create their own content without having to leave the classroom.

Using technology in a busy classroom isn’t always as easy as it should be. Imagine how difficult it could be to control 30 children wearing VR headsets!

The ClassVR interface and teacher control portal provide the simple to use tools needed to ensure this exciting and engaging technology can deliver a rich, reliable experience for students.

Mass and Weight

June 1, 2018

Today my Y7s were investigating the difference between mass and weight. They could work out that gravity was approximately 10m/s/s and then calculated their own weights on all the planets of our solar system.  Out of this world!!

Robocopter Drop

May 31, 2018

The Year 7s have been learning about mass, weight, gravity, air resistance and terminal velocity in Science this term. The class are experimenting with different variables and how these affect the flight time of their robocopters.
