Staff Professional Development

October 10, 2017

Matthew English is a Humanities & Social Science Teacher facilitating Vocational Business Certificates for Senior School students.

He recently spent some time at Waypoint Consulting.

He was able to witness some cutting-edge use of modern business applications within the cloud environment, the integration of various applications, applicant tracking and Customer Relationship Management systems.

The technology has changed a great deal in the time he has been away from the corporate world, but at its core, Recruitment, Human Resources, Training and Business Consultation is still about relationships first and foremost.

Its been a great experience for Matthew to learn about business in the modern world, which will be of great assistance when getting back to the classroom in term 4 and applying this new-found knowledge and experience to the Vocational students.
