Explaining COVID-19 to children

Dear Parents,

In addition to the email sent earlier by our Principal Mrs Beare, please see below a video link from Dr Michael Carr-Gregg giving advice to parents on how to best educate their children about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We encourage you to view this video and have a conversation with your child. Staff have been handling the situation very calmly with students over the last couple of weeks, ensuring that school is a safe place where they can learn, enjoy each other’s company and where normality is paramount.

THANKSGIVING 2020- Postponed

The Federal Government has advised against any organised events with more than 500 attendees in relation to stemming the community transfer cases of Coronavirus (COVID 19). In accordance with the Government’s advice, and to protect the health and wellbeing of our School community, we have decided to postpone the Thanksgiving Service, which was planned for March 31, until further notice.

We thank you for your ongoing support of our School events and will be in touch with more information when we know it is safe to proceed.

Thank you and take care.
