Children’s University – Graduation is getting close!

I am excited to say that six students have already qualified for graduation in November.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside my control, I am unable to facilitate a passport stamping session in Week 9 of this term.  If your child still requires their passport to be stamped to qualify for graduation this year, please send me an email at Janelle.morris@ststephens.wa.edu.au and I will try to arrange a time.

The next passport stamping session will be in the library at lunch time on Thursday 21 October.  Please note this is after the deadline for qualifying for the 2021 Graduation.

Father’s Day Stall Success

A huge THANK YOU to the Father’s Day Stall organising committee and all parents who have volunteered their time last week at the stall! It was a huge success and all proceeds from this event will go towards our annual Picnic on The Green. Thank you for your support!

After School Clubs

A reminder that after school clubs will not be running this week, Monday 6 to Friday 10 September due to staff commitments in all evening performances of the Aladdin production. Thank you for your understanding.

Children’s University – September Challenge

The tourism industry has been hit hard with the current situation around the globe, so we are celebrating World Tourism Day on September 27! This month’s challenge is to think of a country, town or a city that you would like to visit in the future. Create a travel itinerary or a postcard of the place you would like to explore. If you can’t decide on just one place, make it an extended trip! Take your itinerary or postcard to your CU Coordinator or upload them to the CU Portal to earn 30 minutes per itinerary or postcard.

Next passport stamping session is on Thursday 9 September in the library – hope to see you there!

The event we have all been waiting for – Aladdin Jr!!!

As most of you are aware, Year 3 to 6 students performed Aladdin Jr. in front of all our PP to Year 2 students last Friday. What an AMAZING experience!!! Our upper years performers were outstanding and their audience were so well behaved! What an experience for all! Our senior students have another exciting week ahead of them with 3 more performances this week; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening. Please make sure you browse Mrs Hignett’s FAQs document https://blogs.ststephens.wa.edu.au/aladdin2021/ to ensure all students arrive on time and at the correct venue for all performances. We look forward to seeing you there!
