Jump Rope for Heart 2020

We are very excited to announce that St Stephen’s School Carramar has already raised $1258 in this year’s Jump Rope for Heart Program! Keep up the great work everyone.

Jump Rope for Heart is a great way for your child to keep fit and learn new skills, but it also helps raise funds for vital heart research and education programs.

It’s not too late to sign up! Visit www.jumprope.org.au to register your child online, so they can receive the full benefits of the program and participate in online fundraising.

Thank you for supporting the Jump Rope for Heart program!

Cards that Count

Cards will be delivered to the school on 16th November. The back of the cards will have the Uniting Logo, Year 2020 and your child’s name, class year and school. The cost of the pack of 10 cards is $16.

Special Edition Blog

Book Fair Extraordinaire!!!

Firstly, THANK YOU so much to all parents who have responded to our call for volunteers for the Book Fair next week. We truly appreciate your support 😊! I wish to inform you that due to the extensive and incredible amount of books  for sale next week (thank you so much for your donations!), we have decided to hold the Book Fair in the Primary Forum and NOT the Canteen under cover area. The logistics to move the books in and out of buildings are just too difficult.

As we still need to adhere to specific rules, we ask that parents and students enter and exit from the entrance door next to the Health Care Centre ONLY and stay within the designated “sale-zone” at all times. We thank you for your understanding.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the Fair next week as well as the Book Parade on Friday 23 October!

Special Urgent Edition

VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED!!!!!

Our Book Fair is next week and we simply haven’t got enough volunteers to help yet. We need help every day between 7.30-9.30am to assist with set up, sales and packing away. We have had some amazing Mums and Dads volunteer their time for past events so please get in touch with Karli on 0424 168797 urgently if you can help. Weeks of hard work has gone into organising this event already and all proceeds will go towards providing our beautiful children with the end of year fun event they have grown to love and look forward to. Everyone’s help is needed.

Term 4, Week 1

Welcome back!

We can’t believe we are starting the final term of 2020 and hope that everyone had a wonderful break! We held a very special welcome assembly this morning, sharing with students our school’s new acquisitions: three brand new outdoor flag poles with the Australian, West Australian and Australian Aboriginal flags (please make sure you have a look when passing by our Administration Building next to the Library) as well as a beautiful indoor stand with the same three flags which will be on display at all our formal events from now on. Mr Roberts explained the meaning of each flag, acknowledging the importance of paying respect to our ancestors and our country. It was lovely to hear all our students singing the song, Wanjoo together, celebrating diversity and the beautiful country we live in.

Extra Curricular Clubs

Please note that the only Extra Curricular Club available in Term 4 will be the After School Sports Club for Pre-primary to Year 2 students on Thursdays. Bookings will be available from Wednesday 14 October from 6.00pm. https://portal.ststephens.wa.edu.au/parent-and-student/plan-the-day/primary-school-clubs.html
