CALLING OUT FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR THE 2020 BOOK FAIR

Parent reps are seeking help to sort books in preparation for the 2020 Book Fair which will be held Monday 19 to Friday 23 October. We would appreciate any parent available to help until the end of this term to contact Karli Goodall karlig675@gmail.com

FATHER’S DAY STALL SUCCESS

This year’s Father’s Day stall was once again a huge success, raising almost $800.00 to be used against the end of year Picnic on the Green. We would like to thank all mums who have generously given of their time to ensure this event runs smoothly, enabling our community to source lovely gifts for our dads once again this year.

UNIFORM STANDARDS

A friendly reminder to ensure that your child’s hairstyle and accessories adhere to the School’s uniform policy. Please refer to the Parent Handbook for further details https://ststephensschool.sharepoint.com/SSSCorporate/ParentHandbook/Forms

We appreciate that the hairstyle reflected in the below image may be in fashion at the moment, however please note that any shaved hairstyles are not permitted as part of the School uniform policy.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB

PRIMARY INTER-HOUSE ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

Friday 11 September (Week 7)

A reminder that students in Kindy – Year 6 will be taking part in the Primary Interhouse Athletics Carnival this Friday.

Date: Friday 11 September (Week 7)

Time: 8.25am – 3.20pm
Students in Year 1 – 6 need to arrive at school no later than 8.25am. 

Location: St Stephen’s School Carramar – Oval

What to Wear: 

  • House Uniform
  • Appropriate sports shoes (no athletics spikes permitted, rubber athletics shoes only)
  • Clearly labelled St Stephen’s School hat
  • Clearly labelled St Stephen’s School jacket and/or tracksuit pants

What to Bring: 

  • Clearly labelled water bottle
  • Students must bring all food and drinks they will need for the day. A meal deal will be available from the Canteen.
  • Clearly labelled bag containing all their requirements for the day, including personal medication, towel, etc. 
  • If your child has asthma, please ensure they bring their inhaler.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

The following arrangements have been put in place to ensure compliance with the current COVID-19 safety guidelines.

  • Parents/guardians will not be permitted in the House Bays designated for students.
  • All students will eat lunch in their House Bays – students will not be permitted to leave their House Bay and eat lunch with their family during the scheduled lunch break.
  • There will be designated spectating areas for parents/guardians to spectate their children from a distance. Parents/guardians must remain in these areas when spectating an event. Spectators are not permitted on the inside of the track.

SPORTS DAY MEAL DEAL

BEFORE SCHOOL TENNIS LESSONS

We are excited to announce that Oceanridge Tennis Academy will be conducting before school tennis lessons at St Stephen’s School Carramar in Term 4. The tennis lessons will run for 8 weeks, providing your child with an introduction to tennis and allowing them to start the day in an active and engaging manner.

Details of the program are as follows:
Year Groups: 1 – 6
Dates: Thursday 15 October – Thursday 3 December (8 week program)

Time: 7.30am – 8.15am (45 minutes)
Cost: $130 per child
Where: Secondary Tennis Courts
