A plea from our friendly library staff 

Dear Parent/Guardians

We know the last fortnight has been a bit disrupted due to the emergency closure last week. This meant that our Thursday and Friday borrowing classes missed their last Library lesson and were unable to return their books by the end of Week 8.

Currently we still have many books that have not been returned to the library.

We ask that you help your child track down any of their library books that are still at home and ensure the books are safely packed into school bags so they can be returned on Monday.

As a special privilege the PK – Year 5 students who have returned their overdue books (and who are enrolled at SSS for 2024) may borrow for the holidays – if they bring a parent or carer to the Library. 

Year 6 students who are staying with us next year, may borrow books for the holidays independently as part of their transition to secondary school priviledges.
