A personal note from the Carramar Leadership Team
Dear Parents and Carers
We would like to thank you for your ongoing support through the ever changing environment we find ourselves in. We have been overwhelmed with the community’s appreciation of the way our amazing staff have handled the current situation. Your emails and words of encouragement mean a lot to us.
Below is one of the many beautiful messages we received, this one anonymously. We cannot express enough how the kindness and understanding of our community has lifted the spirits of our staff. THANK YOU!
ABSENTEE NOTIFICATIONS
On a daily basis, parents are asked to advise student absences stating the date and reason for the absence, to Student Services using one of the following methods:
Email: absenteecarramar@ststephens.wa.edu.au
SMS: 0428 863 144
Phone: 9306 7111
Please do not report absences directly to teachers. You are welcome to include the teacher in the notification to the Absentee email address should you wish to pass on a reason/message.
Where extended student absences are known ahead of time, please send a copy of the email to Mrs Isabelle Pilote via isabelle.pilote@ststepehens.wa.edu.au
Crazy Hair Day
On Thursday 2 April we will be holding our annual Crazy Hair Day organised by the Year 6 Captains. Please bring a gold coin donation.
This year funds raised will be donated to Ocean Heros – helping children on the autistic spectrum build confidence through surfing.
School Clubs and Activities – cancelled
As advised yesterday in line with the Government’s direction of retaining essential services or activities, clubs will cease forthwith.
“Supporting Your Child In a Digital World” POSTPONED
Considering the current climate and our School’s approach to being proactive in the care of our students and our community, we are making the prudent decision to postpone this event with the intention of rescheduling later in the year. I will be in touch with more information when we know it is safe to proceed.
Thank you
