Term 1, Week 6

PJ Day This Friday 2 June

2023 Arts & Academic Festival

Are you ready…..the Arts & Academic Entry Desk will open tomorrow morning from 8am – 8.30am in the Forum!  We are so excited to see if we can beat the number of entries from last year!  Will Charis retain the shield?

New forms will remain available to collect until the end of the day on Thursday this week.  Completed forms together with all attachments (music/lyrics/USB etc) must be handed in to the Entry Desk by 8.30am on Friday 2 June.  Please remember, if entering as a group, each member needs their own form, signed by their parent and the forms must be submitted together (one person can bring both forms).

Children’s University

27 May – 3 June is National Reconciliation Week and Children’s University has some activities for you to get involved in. These suggested activities do depending on your age so it will be easiest for you to find the right one through the portal. Log in to the portal, click on CU Online in the top menu bar, click the Monthly Challenge topic and then scroll down to see the activities. There are more than just the national reconciliation week activities, so maybe look at what else catches your interest and do both!

The next passport stamping session will be Tuesday 13 June before school in the Primary Forum.

Term 2 Running Club

All students in Kindy to Year 6 and their families are encouraged to join Miss Uglow on the Primary Green every Thursday morning to run as many laps around the Green as you can! No matter what your ability is, come on down to earn House points, improve your fitness, build your confidence and run your way towards a healthier lifestyle.

Each participating individual will be given their own Running Club lapathon card to count their laps every week. Runners will earn 1 Running Club House Point for every lap they complete around the Primary Green. Running Club lapathon cards must be left with Miss Uglow at the end of each session. You will use the same running club card each week unless you have reached 100 laps… after that you will need a new one!
