Icy poles are back!

Class Representatives

Thank you to all parents who have nominated to be Class Representatives in 2020. We still have some vacancies and would like to encourage you to register your interest, if at all possible, with your respective classroom teacher by the end of this week. Mr Roberts and Mrs Pilote will be holding our first Class Representatives meeting on Tuesday 18 February at 9AM in our Primary Staffroom and will be emailing an invitation to our 2020 Class Representatives by the end of this week. A friendly reminder that the Class Representative’s role is to “build community” and help organise community events and fundraisers.

Update your details

As per email sent to parents last Friday, please confirm our records of your contact information and your son/daughter’s health details via the link provided or the parent portal. The accuracy and currency of these elements are important to us and essential for our care of your child.

Make a Difference

Our Secondary School South Africa Tour students are looking forward to visiting JJ Haven and Sinethemba children’s homes in April with a group of 18 Year 10 students from both campuses. To help students less privileged, the team is asking our community if they have any of the following items to donate:

  • Priority items include black school shoes of any size, school bags and pencil cases.
  • Uniforms, particularly grey trousers and white polos.
  • Non-liquid toiletries including toothbrushes and sanitary pads.
  • Children’s clothing – particularly warm items.
  • Sports shoes, soccer boots (boys and girls), soccer kits

We, of course, welcome any donations from our school community but the above specific items will make a real difference in people’s lives.

Donations can be dropped in a labelled box located in the Primary Forum until 23 March.

Thank you in anticipation for your generosity.

The South Africa Tour Team
