Dear Community,
We hope this blog post finds you well as we start Week 5 of Term 2.
We always have lots of things happening at either the ELC or 3-6 and this week is no different. Please be aware of the events taking place. If your child is involved in an event, further information will be posted on your class blog.

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the 3-6 Cross Country Carnival last week. This coming week we will see the younger students complete their cross-country event at the ELC. All parents and family are welcome to attend we kindly ask that you stay in the parent section whilst the teachers are supervising the students during the event. At the end of the event, you will be invited to come and congratulate your child/ren.
Over the last few weeks, we have seen an increase in children with stomach bugs. If your child has been unwell, please do not send them to school for at least 24 hours after symptoms have ceased. We must look after each other and try to prevent the spread of illness where possible. If your child is not attending school, please email or call the admin office. Thank you for your support in this area.
We hope you have a lovely week.

2023 Interhouse Cross Country Results
Congratulations to Timae for another cross country victory. In warm conditions, Timae won with 1047 points. Alethea came second with 1122 points and Carana came third with 1252 points. The lowest score wins in cross country as first place is only worth one point.
There were many outstanding individual efforts and it was extremely pleasing to see students push themselves physically to help their house. Inter school selection is based on the top 6 boys and top 6 girls for each year group. There are a number of students that were unable to participate due to sickness and they will be able to challenge for top 6 positions in time trials this Friday.
Well done to the following students that won medals;
