As we enter the final weeks of term, there are lots of events happening this week, it is pleasing to see that things are not slowing down. The next two weeks promise to be just as exciting and engaging for all of our students. It is an exciting week ahead for the 3-6 students as they compete in the Inter House Athletic Carnival. These are always great community days and we look forward to seeing you there. We wish all houses the very best for this week’s competition. There is also a lot happening at the ELC as the students enjoy a range of activities, ending with the Year 1 camp on Friday. As always, please ensure you are up to date with what is happening with your child via the class blog.
Dogs at the ELC
We have seen an increase in dogs being brought to the ELC over this year. Last week there was an incident with a dog off a leash. No dogs are to be brought inside the gates of the ELC. We have several students with allergies and also some children who are frightened of dogs. We kindly ask that if you do bring a dog to the ELC they remain outside our perimeter fence.

Year 2 Transition
On Monday, the Year 2 students are to be dropped off at 3-6 in the morning. They will be greeted by their class teachers. Our Year 2 students will then be attending Worship followed by a special introduction to possible instruments they can choose next year as part of the music program. After these two special events staff and students will return to the ELC.
I would also like to draw your attention to R U OK? Day on Thursday 14 October. A national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone that any day is the day to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and support those struggling with life.

Click blue ‘MEAL ORDER’ button.
Step 1 – select your child (PLEASE ENSURE ALL DETAILS ARE UP TO DATE, Health warning in your student profile should be completed if your child has any food allergies/ intolerances).
Step 2 – select date 19 September and then click on the pop-up dialogue box SPECIAL EVENT MENU.
Orders must be placed by the cut-off date of Thursday, 14 September at 7.30am – sorry we cannot accept late orders.
Step 3 – add to cart: click on the cross next to MEAL DEALS then tick the meal deal of your choice and then click blue ADD TO CART.
Step 4 – Don’t forget to click ‘PAY AND PLACE ORDER’ before leaving the page. You will receive a confirmation email, or you can click the Active orders tab on the homepage to check your order is pending.
