Dear Community,

So, we have now reached the end of term. Over this term we have had so much fun and learning. I am sure the staff and students are looking forward to time away from school, to rest and recharge. It takes many people, departments, and resources to run a busy term. A huge thank you to our awesome staff at the school. A special thank you to all the parents for supporting us over the term too.

Additional thanks also to the following people.

  • Daniel Parker, parent helpers and staff for the running of the School Athletics Carnival. There were lots of events and it was great to see house spirit in full force.
  • Last week at the ELC we had our Piano recital. Our ELC piano students are to be commended for their confident and entertaining performances. An outstanding recital! It is wonderful to see the growth of the students piano playing over the course of this year. Well done to all those involved.
  • Thank you to the Digital Learning Team for their fantastic learning journey at the ELC. The students really enjoyed exploring the variety of Tech based learning.
  • To our Year 1 team and support from Kindy teachers in delivering a wonderful Year 1 camp. It was lovely to see the students utilising their knowledge from their recent Inquiry as they visited the Western Bush Swamp Tortoise and Numbats as well as all the other animals.
  • Many thanks to 3-6 for hosting another transition day for the Year 2 students. The high school students provided a great insight to the music program for next year and what can be achieved as a band when you learn an instrument. Thank you Jeanette Teh and Rebecca Thorne.

Have a wonderful break and looking forward to seeing you all next term. Term 4 commences Tuesday 10 October.

Take Care,

Hannah Lockwood-Jones & Andrew Johnston
