It was lovely to see so many of you at the Christmas Markets on Saturday. It was a very hot day, but that didn’t stop you all from having a great time and coming together as a community. A huge thank you to all of the parents who volunteered their time to help with the planning, organisation, set up, running and packing away of the day. We would like to particularly thank Julie Wookey, Melinda Shreeve and Melanie Emmens for their hard work in the build up to and during the event. These things are never easy and take a lot of time planning and organising so we are hugely grateful for all who gave their time to this event.

As we enter the second half of the term, we know you are all aware that this is a very busy time for our teachers as they are preparing for the end of year. Supporting with events, writing reports and continuing with engaging learning opportunities for the students is particularly time consuming. Can we please ask that you are mindful of your expectations with communication, and meeting requests. If you are wanting to know about your child’s progress, you will be able to see this through the SEQTA releases. There have been several released so far and more to come over the next few weeks. If there is anything specific to note or of concern, the teachers will contact you to keep you updated, before the reports are sent to you.

A friendly reminder, the Kindy outdoor learning area is reset each afternoon ready for the next day. Can we please ask students not to enter the Kindy learning space after 3pm dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation.

Last Day of Term – Wednesday 6 December

This day will be a messy day for our students at ELC and 3-6, therefore students are invited to come to school wearing free dress.

Please note ELC students finish at 11.45am and 3-6 students at 12 noon on this day.

Wishing you a wonderful week,

Andrew Johnston and Hannah Lockwood-Jones
