Term 4, Week 9 Notices

Happy Holidays

School closes this Wednesday 11 December at 3:10pm for 3-6 students and 3:20pm for ELC students.

The closing time on the last day of Term 4 has been under discussion for some time and the move to close after a full day is in response to various transport obligations, including bus routes.

The ELC and Primary Offices will be closed from Friday 13 December until Monday 13 January.

The first day of Term 1, 2020 will be Friday, 31 January.

Wishing everyone a blessed Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.

Free Dress Day Money

Thank you to all who brought in their gold coin donations today. We had a fabulous day today in our free dress. All monies raised from the ELC will be going to Uniting Care West to buy food for Christmas Hampers and all monies raised from the Primary 3-6 will be going to Joondalup District Child Protection and Family Support, together with the gifts collected from the ELC last week.

Please, if you forgot to bring your gold coin donation, it’s not too late to hand it in to your teacher tomorrow!

Student Reports

Dear parents,

We have been made aware that some people are attempting to access their child’s reports. However, please know that information about how to access the reports will be sent out tomorrow. If you have any further questions after you have received that email, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,

Jarrod Heglund

Primary School Construction

Some wonderful renovations are taking place in the Year 6 building. As the process needs to begin before the students finish the year, you will notice some changes around that space.

The Year 6 area, including the small playground will be fenced off to allow the builders to begin the process. There will also be a skip-bin in the staff parking area. We have made these arrangements in order to allow the kiss-and-drive area to be fully functional for you at the beginning and end of the school day.

While these areas will be back to being functional for the start of the new year, the finishing touches to the Year 6 space are due to be completed in the first few weeks of 2020.

Thank you for your understanding as we are flexible with our space to allow these exciting updates to take place.
