The ELC are hosting a “free-dress” non-uniform day on the last Monday of term, Monday 23 September.  Each student is asked to bring a gold coin donation to support the Fruitful Harvest Ministry’s, Egg-a-day Program in Zimbabwe. For $1 you could help 6 children like these get something good to eat! ELC Disco Success

We would like to thank everyone involved in the ELC Disco held on Friday 6 September.  The team of volunteers was expertly led by Mrs Kellie Thompson!  Thank you all so much for making this event such a success!

We are excited to announce that a profit of $1100 was made for our fundraising account, and this money will go towards improvements at the ELC.

Once again, thank you to our ELC Community, you are awesome!

Passtab now at ELC and Primary 3-6

Passtab is an induction and compliance program that tracks the movement of visitors across our campuses. It is a fast, efficient sign in and out process for staff, relief staff, tutors, therapists, visitors and contractors. It also helps to ensure all contractors and regular visitors to our School receive a safety induction. The program is installed on an iPad and supported by a Passtab App. The App allows the School to account for visitors on campus in the event of an emergency evacuation.

Passtab iPads have been installed for visitors to sign in and out at the ELC Administration Office as well as Duncraig Primary Administration and other areas of our school. Signing in during the school day is required for parent volunteers spending time on site.  Initial sign up takes a few minutes, thereafter your Quickpin will be established and it is an easy process to sign in and out of the school.  Signing in and out of events, as well as the usual drop-offs and pick-ups of students, is not required.

Thank you for supporting us in this new initiative.

ELC Kiss & Drive – Important Information

Over the past couple of weeks, we have had parents parking in the Kiss and Drive area of the ELC. This has caused problems for other parents that are trying to drop their children off. On Thursday we had five cars parked in the Kiss and Drive area which meant that the area was inaccessible for drop off. Parents were then forced to stop in the road and let their children out. This then affected the flow of traffic coming in and out of the school.

We ask that you please respect others as you drop off your children to school and do not park in the Kiss and Drive area. There are parking places available opposite Kindy and Pre Primary and surrounding the oval.

Thank you for keeping our children and our community safe and for assisting us with the smooth flow of traffic through our school.

Synthesis is coming…
